I've always had a genuine passion for all things design. I've been creating digital content since the dial up days, but gained my first hands-on experience with the Adobe Creative Suite whilst studying a multimedia production degree at university.
Fresh out of uni, I freelanced for several years as a live event camera operator before I joined production on several prime-time TV shows. Slowly, I worked towards my role as a Digital Content Producer at Endemol Shine UK.
In 2016 I returned to the freelance world - I've since created graphics and digital assets for a number of different clients and companies. Then, in 2018 I joined startup ev.energy as their first product designer, which set me on my path to now - senior product designer at an Edinburgh based agency.
I work across multiple disciplines, with a focus on native apps and websites, though I've created experiences for Amazon Show devices and large interaction displays, too.
I make engaging, shareable content and I'm confident in After Effects and Premiere. I've animated and edited everything from simple gifs and Instagram stickers to full marketing video packages.
I've managed and created apps, websites and emails, planned and integrated social media campaigns, and much, much more.
I edit and retouch photos, but I'm also comfortable behind the camera, with particular experience at live music events.
I apply a unique approach to each digital project that I work on and love to develop new approaches to design challenges.
I'm hard working. Though I prefer a collaborative approach to work, I'm happy to take the initiative and work independently.
I've worked in lots of different environments in a number of different roles, developing strong technical and interpersonal skills.
